Brutal Honesty...

So like probably 90% of other brides to be out there I need to lose weight before I get married. I am not posting this so that everyone will tell me I don't. The honest truth is I do!

My darling mother calls my fiancé a "fat feeder" and unfortunately this is so true. I was much, much lighter before I got this happy!

I have started taking daily walks with my big sister who has lost a ridiculous amount of weight recently and if I'm not careful will look much, much better than me on my wedding day.

I have decided in an effort to keep myself motivated, to give you weekly updates on my weight loss and this is the first.

To be in my healthy weight range I need to loose about 1.5kg a week between now and February. I have no idea if I can stay that motivated but we shall see how I go. To be honest I’ll just be happy if I can even get close to that.

I have been nathaniel-less all week and he will be home finally at 10.30pm tonight and I can't wait!

I think I've found my hair style....

When I cam across these images at SMP this morning I just about fell off my chair (note to self don't read wedding blogs while on wheely chair).  I'm so in love with everything about this wedding - you really should check it out.

More than anything though I love, love, love her hair!  She looks like she could have as much hair as I do and I want that hairstyle.  Just trying to decide if it goes with my dress.

Did I tell you I found my dress?  Well dress pattern anyway.  My very dear and lovely mumsy is making me a trial run (so I can make sure it suites) and if it does - ta da - wedding dress.  I'm a little bit excited.

We Have A Winner

I believe dear friends that we have found our wedding venue.

My wedding co-ordinator/florist talked about maybe doing suspended floral arrangements for our wedding.  If they end up looking anywhere near as good as these from Amy Osaba I will be so much more than happy... deliriously so maybe.

Saturday....

So I have discovered in the last couple of days that every single time a married person asks me about my wedding and I tell them I'm having a small one their response is invariably...

"oh, really! I wish I'd done that."

So I'm left wondering if I have a little wedding will I wish I had a big one (mostly on account of everyone seems to want what they don't have)? or will I just be happy with what I end up with.

I'm inclined to go with happy. Well at least I certainly hope so.

So onto my Saturday. My lovely finance is at work so I'm thinking I should clean and grocery shop today.

Great Gadsby Garden Party
